Oh well. Congratulations on the pve effort.
The Long March to Arzad was no PVE effort. Stop deluding yourself. The latest line you guys are repeating is pretty lame.
It began this month with the march on Tararan. Iron Oxide knew that once Tararan fell they would have a staging system next door to them. It was a bitter fight of attrition and the below links show just how 'PvE' it was Zen.
Tararan:
Amarr Kills
Amarr Losses
Arzad:
Amarr Kills
Amarr Losses
It was an amazing fight for both systems. I for one questioned time and time again if it would succeed. All Amarr had to dig deep down to keep the march up.
I have been waiting for the fall of Arzad since joining the Amarr. I don't care how many ships I lost in the process nothing is going to take away from this victory.
I was literally shooting fireworks at the Amarr that were shooting the Arzad IHUB.
Thank you all that supported. Fleeted up day in and day out. Died and reshipped and came right back to the fight.
To all the pilots that made logistics and ensured tararan was well stocked. All the Fleet Commanders.
Great to see what happens when a focused effort is put into something.
To Loryanna and crew....while I smack in local I will admit you fought hard with what you had.
Unfortunately you fought a Different Amarr, a leaner Amarr. An Amarr without all the turncoats and forum whiners. An Amarr that held onto the faith during the darkest of times.
Also unfortunately for you, you fought without the massive numbers advantage that the constant tier 4 brought you. Add in to it the devastating titan loss and huge morale loss.
I was admittedly impressed by some of the last minute tactics and cruiser brawls.
While you may try to highlight how 'green' your killboards are. We can highlight the same thing in return. Good PVP for both sides was had.

Forgot to add that while you gloat about how 'green' your boards are.
The Amarr are gloating that Arzad fell less than one month after this! |

you killed frigates with cruisers (outnumbering them at that). Damn no wonder PL moved out of ammamake. Think you are ready for the alliance tournament with that engagement. |

Lucius Regall wrote:There is so much amarrian anger after achieving a victory. It is beyond comprehension. I can only guess that all the anger is deeply rooted in some inferiority complex. If the amarrians keep on fighting and learning from us, it will only take a few years before they have as many excellent pvpers as FeO. It is simply a matter of time and training, so please, quit all the raging.

There is a reason you don't see any of your friends in Arzad. I bet you can guess what that reason is. |

Xolve. Give it up bra he will argue with for twenty pages for the sake of arguing. He gets self satisfaction by seeing someone acknowledge his name in an internet forum and tries to get you to do as often as possible. |

I salute you all, friend, foe and 'neutral'. Eve is alive. FW is not broken. I submit my personal eve-kill record (for May) as proof that the Minmatar both fought for Arzad and more often than not fought outnumbered. http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&view=kills&plt_id=530891&m=5&y=2013gf
I agree. It somewhat erks me that the main view of this battle is it is a one weekend affair that involved a standing 80 man gang and oil painting.
While I will be the first to admit it could not have been done without IWhip and Almity holding that standing fleet for the final push; the battle for arzad lasted for about a month starting with the siege and flipping of tararan.
To many a pilot's losses, sacrifices, blood, sweat and tears were overlooked by the final push. Few know that the battle lasted almost a month, with huge brawls that lasted at least ten minutes with logi, tactics and outright brawls for each and every plex until one side admitted defeat and pulled back to regroup.
This was by no means a two day PvE victory. And those involved know exactly how well fought and hard this campaign was fought.
